Returns & Exchanges

For in-store and online orders, you can return or exchange unopened or defective items within 14 days from original date of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Simply bring your item(s) to us with all contents and packaging, proof of purchase, and ID, and we will process your exchange or return back to its original form of tender or a kite+key®, Rutgers Tech Store gift card*. Opened products that are DEFECTIVE (within the first 14 days) may be exchanged for the same exact unit ONLY. If the same unit is unavailable at the time of the return, a like unit may be substituted.
** ALL SALES FINAL on Demo, Open-box, Final sale/End of Life, Marked down, Clearance, and Custom machines.  They are NON-RETURNABLE. **

Returns with Missing Packaging or Accessories - We cannot return items that are missing parts or components.

Custom Orders - All custom configured-to-order machines are subject to a 10% non-refundable deposit. If you choose to cancel the order after it is placed, you will forfeit the 10% deposit.

Returning Bundle, Promotional or Discount Items - If you return an item bought as part of a bundle or with a promotional discount and you do not return everything - we will reimburse you for only what is returned. Items will be exchanged for same product or like product when identical item is not available. For defective merchandise after 14 days, please refer to manufacturer’s warranty.

Online Orders - You will be responsible for any return shipping and handling costs. You can also visit one of our store locations to make a return or exchange in-store. 

*Refund Method - You will be reimbursed for the returned items in the same form of tender you made your purchase. If you paid more than $250 in cash we will refund you by check within 10-14 business days.  If a purchase was made using a debit card without a major credit card logo your purchase will be returned in the form of a kite+key gift card to the store.  Any amounts deducted from a gift card will be credited to a gift card.
